With 700 acres of lush landscape, nature preserves, and glistening lakes, a growing number of amenities, and beautiful luxury custom homes, The Founders Club has much to celebrate, but to honor 10 years of country club community success, the team knew they had to go all out. The result of their collective brainstorming was a three-day, fun-filled commemoration of luxury living and camaraderie that gathered more than 200 residents, members, and guests.
The 10-year anniversary celebration of The Founders Club began with an open house reception in the luxury home community’s newly-renovated Clubhouse. At the 24,000-square-foot Golf Hall, members usually enjoy fine and casual dining with freshest and finest food available, as well as a full calendar of social, sport, and wellness activities such as wine tastings, gourmet kitchen and cooking classes, luxury auto and boating showcases, monthly mixers, and many more activities. This special event maintained the same standard of luxury living with elegant food stations prepared by Executive Chef Mark Traugutt and a rejuvenating social atmosphere provided by residents and members. The Founders Club is lucky to attract wonderful residents and members who share a camaraderie unlike any other country club community. One of our long-time residents, The Vanieri’s, attribute this to the mutual interests of the residents and members.
“For whatever reason, we seem to attract similar-minded people; a lot of retirees and families; a nice mix of people. Everyone gets along. There’s a camaraderie here. It’s not just friendly, it’s welcoming…”

Following the open house reception was The Founders Club’s annual cookout and golf tournament on the Robert Trent Jones Jr.-designed championship golf course the very next day. The golf course features training facilities, including two putting greens, a short game area, and state-of-the-art TrackMan radar technology offered through Florida Golf Performance Center. Recently, The Founders Club improved upon this amenity with an enhanced driving range and Florida-friendly Celebration grass. Membership is limited to 275 to ensure members enjoy year-round golf with no tee time required and the program also features the area’s only traditional caddie program.

The third and final event honoring The Founders Club’s 10-year anniversary was a special dinner and dance celebration at The Founders Golf Club. The evening began with delectable hors-d’oeuvres and cocktails accompanied by the Crossover band’s pianist and guitarist. Dinner was then served in the clubhouse’s verandah, which overlooks an oak hammock and the 18th hole of the championship golf course. The celebration then concluded with music by the Crossover Band and dancing under the stars on The Founders Club’s back lawn.
