Enhancements Underway for The Founders Club’s Active Golf Hall

Since the beginning, The Founders Golf and Social Club’s main priority has been to build camaraderie between its members and over the years, the golf and country club community has flourished with activities and events designed to allow our residents to participate in something new every day. With this in mind, The Founders Club has decided that it is time to renovate the 24,000-square-foot Golf Hall to offer a new refreshing and bright clubhouse in which residents, members, and guests can take part in the many activities offered.

The renovation is scheduled to be completed this summer and will include enhancements to the interior design with new décor, furniture, window treatments, carpeting and artwork in the dining room, private dining room, the bar and grille room, and lobby and hallway areas. The Founders Club community is utilizing the glorious 700 acres by which it is surrounded to decorate the halls, meaning members will feast their eyes on beautiful shots of the fairways at the golf course, nature preserves, lakes, and wetlands, as well as the 100 protected live oaks and variety of birds and wildlife that take residence in our boutique style community.

The renovation will not interfere with the community activities offered.

The renovation will not interfere with the active social life of the club, so residents and guests will still be able to take part in the varying community activities found in the club’s social, sport, and wellness calendar. Club events include wine tastings, gourmet kitchen and cooking classes, luxury auto and boating showcases, monthly mixers, and many more fine living programs to rejuvenate your Sarasota Florida lifestyle. You can also stay fit at one of the many fitness classes offered, like Yoga, Pilates, and dance classes, or enjoy a solo fitness regime at the Club’s fitness facility. If you’re an outdoor enthusiast, take your workout outside on one of our Har-Tru courts or with an invigorating match-up on the club’s basketball or sand volleyball courts. You can also take advantage of men’s, women’s, and couples’ events held on the Robert Trent Jones, Jr.-designed 18-hole golf course.  The Founders Club is even still offering its summertime trial golf memberships which will be available through October 1, 2015. Trial members will have an opportunity to experience the club’s facilities, all social and golf programs, handicap system registration, and golf bag storage. Spend your days taking advantage of the area’s only traditional caddie program, two putting greens, a recently enlarged driving range and remodeled short game area, and state-of-the-art TrackMan radar technology offered through Florida Golf Performance Center. The limited 275-person membership will also allow you to enjoy golf with no tee times required and if you decide to continue your membership, you will be able to enjoy all of these benefits year-round and apply your $1,000 entry free to an upgrade on a limited number of equity and non-equity memberships.
