Upon returning home, residents of The Founders Club are never short of leisure or amusement as the golf and country club community’s professional staff maintains a full calendar of social, sport and wellness activities in its 24,000-square-foot Golf Hall. Club events include wine tastings, gourmet kitchen and cooking classes, luxury auto and boating showcases, monthly mixers, and many more fine living programs to invigorate your soul. Your fitness regime can also get refreshed with one of the many fitness classes offered or a turn at the Club’s fitness facility. Yoga, dance classes, or Pilates may be on the muscle-building menu or you can work up a sweat at the Har-Tru courts or with an invigorating match-up on the club’s basketball or sand volleyball courts.

Anyone interested in a more active form of socialization can take part in the fitness classes held throughout the week or the men’s, women’s, and couples’ events held on the Robert Trent Jones, Jr.-designed 18-hole golf course.   During the golf events, camaraderie is encouraged by having everyone sign up individually and allowing The Founders Golf andSocial Club to pick the pairings!   This allows members to get to know each other while doing something they love.  In the past, the Golf and Social Club held glow-in-the dark golf tournaments where glow-in-the-dark golf balls and markers were used to light up the course.  Players were also given glow-in-the-dark bracelets and necklaces to light their way through the five holes assigned to the event.

Clubhouse

With amenities abound, The Founders Club creates an ideal setting for fostering resident camaraderie. The professional staff at the grand, 24,000-square-foot Golf Hall manages a full calendar of social activities in addition to their fitness options.  Here members can gather like family to enjoy mutual interests, engage in stimulating conversations, or kick back and just have some good ‘ol fashioned fun. The Club’s fine dining room offers an elegant setting for a luxurious dining experience, while the bar and grille and outdoor verandah overlooking an oak hammock provide a casual atmosphere for a delectable lunch. However you choose to dine, our chef always brings the freshest and finest food to the table with a goal of creating great, memorable dishes for his residents. Reservations in our dining rooms can be made for two, but after arriving, you may find yourself seated in a table of eight enjoying food, drinks, and fun, especially if you join the Club during one of its themed dinner nights, Bingo and Trivia Nights, or a Food and Wine Pairing!  Other substantial events held at The Founders Golf and Social Club include a Halloween hayride through the community in October, a holiday shopping event and tree-lighting ceremony in December, and a Santa Brunch right around the holidays.
