The friendly and professional staff at the 24,000-square-foot Golf Hall manages a full calendar of social, sport, and wellness events, and each one is designed so members can find and cultivate friendships.
The energy at The Founders Club is evident the moment you walk in the door, something that residents Kate and Peter Bradley experienced their first night at the club: “I can remember the very, very first night we had at the Club…Everybody was just so happy and the atmosphere was just electric. Wellness activities take place in the fitness facility with state-of-the-art equipment as well as a variety of fitness classes like Yoga, dance classes, and Pilates. If you want to take your workout outside, you can practice your serve on the Har-Tru tennis courts, work up a sweat at the basketball courts or the sand volleyball courts, or take a leisurely walk along the miles of brick paver walking paths that wind their way through gently swaying stands of pines, palms, and 100-year-old oaks. You may even catch a glimpse of some wildlife as you breathe in the fresh air and hold stimulating conversation with your newfound friends.
If golf is your preferred wellness activity, you are just beginning to fall in love with the game, or you have yet to jump into the sport, you’ll love our Robert Trent Jones, Jr. championship golf course. Members can take advantage of the area’s only traditional caddie program, two putting greens, a recently enlarged driving range and remodeled short game area, and state-of-the-art TrackMan radar technology offered through Florida Golf Performance Center. The Founders Club Learning Center is also equipped with FlightScope for custom fitting and best quality instruction by our PGA Professionals. Since membership is limited to just 275 people, members can enjoy year-round golf with no tee-times required. Our Head Golf Pro schedules men’s, women’s, and couples’ events and camaraderie is encouraged by having everyone sign up individually and allowing The Founders Golf and Social Club to pick the pairings. This allows members to get to know each other while doing something they love. Children also get to join in on the fun with Summer Golf Kids Camps, Junior Golf Clinics, Kids Klub, and Fitness and Fun Fridays. They especially love our Halloween hayride through the community in October, the holiday shopping event and tree-lighting ceremony in December, and the Santa Brunch right around the holidays with a visit from the big jolly man himself.
After an invigorating day at the club, head to the elegant or casual dining rooms, bar and grille, private dining room, or outdoor verandah overlooking the 18th hole of our signature golf course to enjoy a delicious meal by our executive chef and staff.
