The Founders Club Hosts Sarasota Realtors for a V.I.P. Celebration

More than 70 local Realtors gathered for a V.I.P. Celebration at The Founders Club, Sarasota’s premier traditional golf community.

Realtors were hosted to an exclusive inside look into the community’s award-winning amenities and homes by the region’s most prestigious builders. The festive evening included hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, networking, and a presentation of available homes and homesites within the community.

“We unveiled our new builder program in the fall, and have quickly seen the word spread throughout the Realtor community about the abundance of choices now available at all levels of the homebuying spectrum,” said John Gleeson, vice president of LB Founders Club, LLC. “From selecting their homesite and builder, to deciding on finishes and interior design, to choosing to partake in the amenities that are meaningful to them – options are available at every step of the way.”

Steve Reid, Alice Reid, Steve Gibson, Deb Codella 2A presentation made during the event outlined the choices residents can make to tailor their Founders Club experience to their own needs and interests, especially when it comes to their homes. The community’s five preferred builders – Anchor Builders, Nelson Homes, Lee Wetherington Homes, London Bay Homes, and Nutter Custom Construction – offer a variety of floor plans featuring three to five bedrooms and ranging from 2,200 to more than 6,000 square feet. Buyers can choose from several different architectural styles that blend with the aesthetic of the community, and the builders can also work with homeowners on custom designs. Home and homesite packages are priced from the $800,000s to more than $5 million.

Two model homes by London Bay Homes are currently open for viewing, with a third underway. Located on almost a half-acre, The Pembrook model home overlooks a lake and the community’s Robert Trent Jones Jr.-designed championship golf course. The fully furnished home offers 3,560 square feet of living space, three bedrooms, four baths and is priced at $1.99 million.

The 3,322-square-foot designer-finished Isabella Grande offers three bedrooms, three baths, a study, a formal dining room and a butler’s bar. The home is priced at $1.49 million.

Enhancing the community’s vibrant residential offerings is a variety of beautifully appointed amenities. Residents at The Founders Club can enjoy a spacious but intimate clubhouse featuring casual and fine dining, a full social calendar, along with a fitness center with the purchase of an optional Club membership. Also available to all homeowners are Har-Tru tennis courts, basketball and sand volleyball courts, and a picnic pavilion. The community features hundreds of protected live oaks and a natural habitat that attracts a variety of birds and wildlife.

Just outside the gates, residents now have quick access through Lorraine Road to a host of activities, restaurants and events in Lakewood Ranch. Less than 20 minutes away, acclaimed local restaurants, boutiques, and arts and cultural venues in downtown Sarasota also offer residents convenient options for vibrant living, while pristine, white-sand beaches near the Sarasota Bay provide a tropical background for enjoying the outdoors.
