London Bay Homes' Isabella and Alezio Models Win Seven Awards in the 2012 Parade of Homes

Sarasota, FL, (Mar. 9, 2012) – Luxury custom-home builder, London Bay Homes, was honored at this year's Parade of Homes with seven awards for its Isabella and Alezio single-family home designs.  Both models are located in two of the region's premiere, gated communities: The Founders Club and The Lake Club.  The awards received for each model home include:

  • Best Architectural Detail (Single Family Category 13): Isabella at The Founders Club, Sarasota
  • Best Curb Appeal, Kitchen, Master Suite, Floor Plan, Architectural Detail and Category Winner (Single Family Category 16): Alezio at The Lake Club, Lakewood Ranch

"Both the Isabella and Alezio are perfectly designed to accommodate Florida's casual outdoor living lifestyle," says Mark Wilson, president, London Bay Homes.  "They reflect the current trend toward functional and very livable spaces, but also incorporate many of the stylish design features today's buyers are looking for."

The Isabella is part of London Bay's "Fairway" series of homes offered at The Founders Club, the private golf community east of I-75 on Fruitville Road.  This 2,880 square-foot home is nestled within the community's 700-acres of natural landscape, wetlands and lakes and only steps away from the Robert Trent Jones, Jr. golf course.  The Isabella's design includes a Great Room floor plan with three bedrooms, three baths, a formal dining room and den.  The Great Room and large master suite open to the home's spacious outdoor living area, pool and summer kitchen.  The popularity of the floor plan is reflected in the fact that two similar Isabella models were sold immediately after being introduced last spring.  Homes at The Founders Club start from the $500s and home sites are priced from $129,000 to almost $1 million.  This fully furnished Isabella model is available for $1,123,500.

The Alezio is located in Matera, the intimate, maintenance-free Village community within The Lake Club at Lakewood Ranch.  Like the Isabella, the Alezio's floor plan provides access to an inviting outdoor entertaining and living area complete with optional amenities such as a pool, fireplace and summer kitchen.  Eight-foot doors, skip trowel finish, concrete tile roofs, sand-set pavered driveways, walks, entries and loggias also add to the Alezio's Italian-influenced architecture.   This particular Alezio model is 3,725 square feet under A/C and features two bedrooms, and two and one-half baths.  It is available fully furnished for $1.35 million.  In addition, the Alezio floor plan is offered in multiple variations, which can accommodate up to four bedrooms and four and one-half baths. With its many structural design options, including a second-level bedroom, the Alezio ranges in size from 3,105 to 3,995 square feet under A/C.  Home sites in Matera are priced from $100,500 to $150,500.

The floor plans and features of the Isabella and Alezio may be modified to accommodate buyers' individual tastes.  Buyers can also access the services of Romanza, London Bay's award-winning in-house design studio, to complete the home's interior detailing.  Some of the standard design features available in both model homes include ceramic tile floors, granite and marble countertops, custom-designed cabinetry, stainless steel kitchen appliances, crown molding and London Bay's "Building Science" construction that creates and home of superior energy-efficiency, durability and ease of maintenance.

London Bay Homes builds luxury homes priced from the $500s to more than $10 million in seven luxury communities from Naples to Sarasota.  It also builds custom homes on individual sites in many of the region's most exclusive communities, on beachfront property, and in downtown districts ranging up to $10 million.  It also operates remodeling and interior design divisions and was named America's Best Builder in 2008.  For more information about London Bay Homes or its winning home designs, visit www.londonbay.com.
