SARASOTA, Fla. (Feb. 23, 2015) – London Bay Homes’ newest model home is now open for viewing at The Founders Club, Sarasota’s premier golf and social club community. The three-bedroom, three- and one-half-bath Clara is the most recent addition to London Bay’s Reserve Collection floor plans and is located along the fairways of the community’s Robert Trent Jones Jr.-designed championship course.

The Clara offers a den, formal living and dining rooms, a family room and 3,248 square feet of air conditioned living space. The model is shown with an outdoor kitchen, pool, spa and three-car garage.

The home features interior design by Michael Scott of Romanza Interior Design and coastal colors of beach, sea and tropical green. Finishes include pearl-hued porcelain tile flooring, beamed ceilings in the den and dining room, granite and quartz kitchen and bathroom countertops, and oxford oak flooring in the den.

Scott also accented the tray ceiling with crown molding and customized walls with painted moldings. The designer created a butler’s pantry connecting kitchen to dining room and offering a stainless steel beverage center and built-in cabinetry.

Sliding glass doors in the living room and kitchen enhance the Clara’s open floor plan and lead out to a covered living area, which offers ample seating and a summer kitchen with a stainless steel grill and refrigerator and moonstone quartz countertops.

Interior and alfresco spaces overlook the pool, golf course and a nature preserve.

The Clara’s kitchen features saddle-brown finished cabinetry, moonstone quartz countertops and an auburn hued backsplash. An oversized freestanding island offers workspace, double sinks, a paneled dishwasher and a curved peninsula with seating for four. The kitchen has stainless steel GE Monogram appliances, including a six-burner dual-fuel cooktop, stove hood, side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, convection oven and microwave.

The master bedroom is accented with gold, gray and copper and offers his-and-her walk-in closets. The bathroom features a porcelain tile-clad shower, a separate tub and vanities with quartz countertops.

The Clara’s guest rooms have walk-in closets and private full baths with granite vanity countertops.

The model’s laundry room offers a front-loading washer and dryer, a utility sink and cabinetry.

The Clara is priced at $1,384,900 furnished.

London Bay Homes, named America’s Best Builder by Builder magazine in 2008, offers a selection of more than 18 single-family detached villa homes, Reserve Collection homes and one-of-a-kind estates at The Founders Club, Sarasota’s premier golf and social club community.

With home and homesite packages priced from the $750,000s, London Bay’s single-family homes on fairway homesites offer 2,000 to more than 4,000 square feet of living space and are conveniently located within walking distance of the clubhouse.

Reserve Collection homes, also available on fairway homesites, range from 3,000 to more than 5,000 square feet of living space. These single-family homes provide a variety of design options that can be customized to a buyer’s preference. Home and homesite packages are priced from the $800,000s.

Estate home and homesite packages are priced from $1 million to more than $5 million and offer a wide range of customization and designer options. Floor plans feature dining and living rooms, studies, expansive alfresco living spaces and large master suites with walk-in closets and spa-like bathrooms.

London Bay Homes builds its homes using the latest information, products and technology available in building science, including the BEP Blue Barrier system that protects against mold issues and structural damage from moisture intrusion.

The Founders Club’s amenities are designed to foster camaraderie and a connection with nature. Miles of winding boardwalks and paved walkways meander throughout the 700-acre community, which is punctuated by palm trees, pines and moss-covered live oaks.

The member-owned Founders Golf and Social Club offers 18 holes of Trent Jones, Jr.-designed championship golf with the area’s only traditional caddie program. Golfers are allowed to walk the course, and membership is limited to just 275 to ensure members enjoy year-round golf with no tee time required.

Training facilities include two putting greens, a short game area, and state-of-the-art TrackMan radar technology offered through Florida Golf Performance Center.

Recent renovations expanded the short-game area and doubled the size of the driving range, which now offers 32 stations. The club’s practice facilities were also re-sodded with Celebration grass.

The 24,000-square-foot Golf Hall, overlooking an oak hammock and the 18th hole, offers a main dining room, bar and grille, outdoor verandah, and private dining room for casual and fine dining. The facility also has a professionally staffed and fully stocked golf pro shop, state-of-the-art fitness center, and men’s and women’s locker rooms and lounges.

The club offers a vibrant, active social calendar and an in-season reciprocal partnership with Sarasota Yacht Club.

Additional facilities at The Founders Club include two Har-Tru tennis courts, basketball and sand volleyball courts, and a picnic pavilion. Fitness and wellness classes, educational and instructional programs, and social gatherings are coordinated by a professional staff.

Only 262 homes are planned for the community, which is conveniently located within minutes of Florida’s cultural coast, including Sarasota’s world-famous Gulf of Mexico beaches, the new University Town Center mall, and the acclaimed local restaurants, boutiques and arts and cultural venues of downtown Sarasota.

The Founders Club Sales Center is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is located at 3001 Founders Club Drive, three miles east of I-75 on Fruitville Road, Exit 210.
