Sarasota, FL (November 8, 2012) -- In less than 30 days, two popular Traviata floor plans have sold at The Founders Club, recording nearly $2.5 million in sales.

The fully furnished Traviata model, a single-family home from London Bay Homes' Reserve Collection, recently sold for $1.49 million and remains open for viewing through January 2013.

Located along the Robert Trent Jones Jr.-designed championship golf course at The Founders Club, a second Traviata home is expected to be completed in May 2013. Based on the model floor plan, the homeowners customized the Traviata to reflect both the functionality and design of the owners' dreams.

The Traviata is a four-bedroom, four-and-one-half-bath estate offered as part of London Bay Homes' Reserve Collection of 16 popular floor plans that can be customized to each homebuyer's needs. Reserve Collection homes, available on fairway homesites, range from 2,800 to more than 4,600 square feet of living space and are priced from the $600,000s.

The Traviata offers formal living and dining rooms, cafe area, study and a family room within 4,040 square feet of living space. It has a three-car garage, a covered lanai, an outdoor living area with a summer kitchen and 5,620 total square feet.

The floor plan features tray ceilings in select rooms, columns, art niches and furniture recesses, a living room fireplace and walls of sliding glass doors that open the living and family rooms to al fresco spaces.

The Traviata's master suite offers his-and-her walk-in closets and a large bathroom with separate tub and shower and a vanity with dual sinks. Two of the guest rooms are designed en suite, with a private full bath and walk-in closet.

London Bay Homes, named America's Best Builder by Builder magazine in 2008, also offers golf cottages and one-of-a-kind estate homes at The Founders Club. Cottages, priced from the high $300,000s, have 2,119 to more than 5,000 square feet of living space and include landscaping and pool maintenance for a lock-and-leave lifestyle. Estate homes are priced from $1 million and offer a wide range of customization and designer options.

Several homes are available for immediate occupancy.

A traditional private golf and social club community, The Founders Club is located within 700 acres featuring intimate neighborhoods with homes nestled along lakes, fairways and nature preserves. The community's amenities are designed to foster camaraderie among residents and a connection with nature. Miles of winding boardwalks and paved walkways meander throughout the community, which is punctuated by palm trees, pines and moss-covered oaks.

The Founders Golf and Social Club offers the area's only traditional caddie program and a state-of-the-art indoor training facility. Membership is limited to only 275 to ensure golfers enjoy year-round golf with no tee time required.

The 24,000-square-foot Golf Hall, overlooking an oak hammock and the 18th hole, offers a main dining room, bar and grille, outdoor verandah and private dining room for casual and fine dining. The facility also has a professionally staffed and fully stocked golf pro shop, state-of-the-art fitness center and men's and women's locker rooms and lounges.

Additional facilities at The Founders Club include two Har-Tru tennis courts, basketball and sand volleyball courts, and a picnic pavilion. Fitness and wellness classes, educational and instructional programs and social gatherings are coordinated by a professional staff.

The Founders Club Sales Center is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is located at 3001 Founders Club Drive, three miles east of I-75 on Fruitville Road, exit 210.
