The Founders Club loves being able to give back to many organizations throughout the year by donating their time, use of venues, and funds for important causes. Just recently, we had the pleasure of hosting an appreciation dinner for the St Martha Catholic School and its Parent Association to celebrate the successful fundraising efforts of the 2015-2016 school year. The appreciation dinner was attended by more than 60 guests, including Siobhan Young, principal of St. Martha’s School, and Tracy Henderson, president of the Parent Association. During the evening, the school held a raffle of a full-tuition scholarship for a student.
The cocktail event celebrated the more than $140,000 received through various fundraisers throughout the school year, including the fundraiser sponsored by The Founders Club community and London Bay Homes in early 2016. The 5th Annual St. Martha Catholic School Cajun Crawfish & Seafood Festival was a success, raising more than $3,500 for the school and providing a wonderful afternoon of delicious cajun food and many fun-filled activities for kids of all ages.
The St Martha Catholic School appreciation dinner was held at the Isabella Two-Story model home built by Sarasota home builder, London Bay Homes. The Isabella Two-Story is The Founders Club’s newest model home and features four bedrooms and five bathrooms within its 4,265 square feet. It was recently recognized for Best Master Suite and Best Floor Plan during the 2016 Parade of Homes, presented by the Manatee-Sarasota Building Industry Association. This model home joins the many other luxury homes available in The Founders Club, as well as the many luxury amenities offered in this Sarasota golf community.
In addition to hosting the St Martha Catholic School’s appreciation dinner, The Founders Club community has also hosted many community activities throughout the year to support our local non-profit organizations, including Circus Sarasota, a non-profit performance arts educational organization with a mission to provide a circus that represents the circus arts at the highest level and that is linked to the community through performance, education, and integrated arts. For their event, The Founders Club community hosted the Circus Sarasota Golf Tournament which brought all kinds of clowns to the signature Robert Trent Jones, Jr.-designed 18-hole golf course in the luxury home community.
