The Founders Golf Club honors the Vainieri family with clock dedication

The Founders Golf Club has installed and dedicated a clock to former Club President Humberto Vainieri and his wife, Deborah, for their longtime support and leadership of the country club. Humberto Vainieri served the Club for eight years over several terms. Plans for the clock, which is now keeping time on the driving range, were first revealed at the annual Scotsman Golf Tournament held at the Club in May.

For nearly a decade, the Vainieris have played a critical role in the planning and stewardship of the community, also serving as the ninth residents to move to the community back in 2005. The Vainieris have also played a lead role in maintaining the community’s intimacy and comraderies, a key element of The Founders Club’s golf program which offers only 275 memberships, ensuring crowds are never an issue and tee times are not required to enjoy the community’s Robert Trent Jones Jr.-designed golf course. Each fairway and green offers opportunities to take in the pristine nature of the community, designed amongst 700 acres of fairways, preserves, moss-covered oak trees and strategically placed lakes that enhance the course’s beauty.
