The Founders Club records $3.7 million in sales for model homes sold

In less than 30 days, two popular model homes by London Bay Homes have sold at The Founders Club, recording nearly $3.7 million in sales.

London Bay Homes owns the majority of homesites in The Founders Club, previously named Best Overall Community by the Manatee-Sarasota Building Industry Association.

“Buyers at The Founders Club have been inspired by our fully furnished model homes, and they’re opting for immediate move-in options that meet their lifestyle,” said Mark Wilson, CEO and president of London Bay Homes. “They walk into a model, experience the flow and ease of living of the floor plan, and envision the possibilities for their own home.”

Desiring a new home that offered a variety of enhancements, such as upgraded spaces, a modern floor plan, and enriched luxury amenities along with an active community lifestyle, the homebuyers of the 3,526-square-foot Girona model were immediately drawn to the home’s architectural design and interior aesthetic.

The couple was also taken with the community’s amenities that they could see themselves utilizing upon moving to the community, such as the miles of brick-paver walking and bike paths found throughout the community’s 700 acres and the Har-Tru tennis courts where they will be able to take part in round robins, clinics, tournaments, and free play.

A second model nearby, the four-bedroom single-family Delfina model captured homebuyers’ attention with its outdoor living area featuring a verandah that wraps around the back of the home showcasing the natural splendor of the community’s expansive oak trees.

The Delfina model home offers formal living and dining rooms, a study, breakfast nook, four full baths, a powder room and 4,332 square feet of living space. Additional features include a three-car garage and a swimming pool, spa and an outdoor kitchen within 5,979 total square feet.

“The Delfina was designed to capture the imagination from the moment you approach the home,” said Wilson. “We intentionally added a number of details that enhanced the presentation from the moment you stepped inside, such as a beautiful formal entry, foyer and gallery to welcome guests along with an expansive open floor plan with family room, kitchen and living room ideal for entertaining that appealed to the homeowners.”

London Bay is currently constructing a new single-family model that will soon be introduced at The Founders Club. The Pembrook will offer 3,560 square feet of living space featuring London Bay Homes’ latest home designs, including a shower garden off the master bath, expanded outdoor destinations and a larger front porch. The model home will also offer a study and bonus room that would make an ideal play area or workout space.

Located on almost half an acre, the Pembrook model home has 5,527 total square feet, three bedrooms, four baths, and overlooks a lake and the community’s Robert Trent Jones, Jr.-designed championship golf course. Priced at $1,990,000, the home is scheduled for completion next month.

An additional model home – the 3,322-square-foot designer-finished Isabella Grande – is currently open for viewing at The Founders Club and offers three-bedrooms, three-baths a study, a formal dining room and a butler’s bar.

The Isabella Grande, priced at $1,495,000, is a reimagined version of London Bay Homes’ popular Isabella floor plan, dedicating an additional 300 square feet to the master suite, which features driftwood-finished dual furniture-style bathroom vanities and bedroom floor.

An award-winning custom homebuilder and developer in the Southwest Florida home market for nearly three decades, London Bay Homes offers custom estates ranging from 2,200 to more than 6,000 square feet of living space at The Founders Club. Home and homesite packages are priced from the $900,000s to more than $5 million.

The Founders Club, Sarasota’s premier golf and social club community, offers expansive homesites overlooking picturesque preserves, lakes and golf course fairways. The Founders Club residents can enjoy a spacious but intimate clubhouse featuring casual and fine dining, a full social calendar, along with a fitness center with the purchase of an optional Club membership. Also available to all homeowners are Har-Tru tennis courts, basketball and sand volleyball courts, and a picnic pavilion. The community features hundreds of protected live oaks and a natural habitat that attracts a variety of birds and wildlife.

The Founders Club is close to Sarasota’s famed Gulf of Mexico beaches, the University Town Center mall, and the acclaimed local restaurants, boutiques, and arts and cultural venues of downtown Sarasota.

Visitors can stop by The Founders Club Sales Center Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. located at 3001 Founders Club Drive, three miles east of I-75 on Fruitville Road, Exit 210.
