The Founders Club, Sarasota’s premier gated golf club community, has named Steve Gibson to the position of sales executive.
With almost two decades of experience as a real-estate broker, he’s skilled at helping buyers prioritize their wants and needs to help them find the home that best matches their lifestyle and interests.
Born in Indiana and raised in Illinois, Gibson attended Arizona State University and has worked as a real estate broker since 2001 in Colorado, Texas and Florida. With a focus on new-home sales, he’s worked with clients of all types, from first-time homebuyers to individuals investing in second or third homes.
Known for his honesty and dedication, Gibson has earned a number of awards throughout his career related to sales volume and customer satisfaction.
“Steve has a knack for being patient, relating well with prospective buyers, gaining their trust and being a good listener,” said John Gleeson, vice president of LB Founders Club, LLC. “He’s also passionate about helping families discover a home and homesite that is the perfect fit for their needs. We’re honored to have his leadership and trustworthy skills as he helps guide families through the homebuying process.”
At The Founders Club, Gibson will help introduce buyers to the range of residential options and array of appealing amenities that can be found at the community.
The Founders Club features expansive homesites overlooking picturesque preserves, lakes and golf course fairways. Its five preferred builders – Anchor Builders, Lee Wetherington Homes, London Bay Homes, Arthur Rutenberg-Nelson Homes, Inc., and Nutter Custom Construction – offer a variety of floor plans featuring three to five bedrooms and ranging from 2,200 to more than 6,000 square feet. Home and homesite packages at The Founders Club are priced from the $800,000s to more than $5 million. There are no CDD fees.
The community’s Robert Trent Jones Jr.–designed championship golf course was literally carved from the natural landscape, with each hole sculpted in harmony with the natural beauty of its surroundings. Residents of The Founders Club can also enjoy a spacious but intimate clubhouse featuring casual and fine dining, a fitness center and a full social calendar with the purchase of an optional Club membership. Har-Tru tennis courts, basketball and sand volleyball courts and a picnic pavilion are available to all homeowners at the community, where hundreds of protected live oaks create a natural habitat that attracts a variety of birds and wildlife.
Just outside the gates, residents now have quick access through Lorraine Road to a host of activities, restaurants and events in Lakewood Ranch. Less than 20 minutes away, the University Town Center and acclaimed local restaurants, boutiques, and arts and cultural venues in downtown Sarasota also offer residents convenient options for vibrant living, while pristine, white-sand beaches near the Sarasota Bay provide a tropical background for enjoying the outdoors.
