A seasoned sales professional with more than 15 years of experience in new home construction, as well as general and commercial real estate, Dovey focuses on helping buyers prioritize their wants and needs to help them find the home and homesite that best matches their lifestyle and interests. With a varied background in customer-service related industries, including prior work with some of Florida’s largest homebuilders, Dovey is adept at keenly understanding client interests and providing clarity on choices. This rings most true with Dovey’s recent sale of a new homesite in The Founders Club. “The couple was drawn to The Founders Club’s natural ambience and privacy, as well as the possibilities for spectacular views of the nature preserves, wetlands and golf course,” said Dovey. “After guiding them through the community and providing an opportunity to play a round of golf on the championship course, the couple immediately felt right at home with the camaraderie and friendliness of the club. The final moment came when a hawk landed on a post on the homesite; it was a majestic moment.” Plans are already underway for an expansive estate on the homesite that borders a stand of trees and unlimited privacy, an important factor for the couple who enjoy entertaining outdoors. “The outdoor space will be a central area of focus of the home, including an outdoor fireplace for evening gatherings,” added Dovey. As part of The Founders Club’s builder program, the couple had the option of selecting from one of five preferred builders in The Founders Club – Anchor Builders, Lee Wetherington Homes, London Bay Homes, Arthur Rutenberg-Nelson Homes and Nutter Custom Construction. Offering a portfolio of customizable floor plans to fulfill a variety of scenarios, each premier builder offers various architectural styles that seamlessly blend with the aesthetic and natural beauty of the community. In addition to home and homesite offerings priced from the $700,000s, Dovey also introduces buyers to the array of appealing amenities that can be found at The Founders Club. The community’s Robert Trent Jones Jr.–designed championship golf course was carved from the natural landscape, with each hole sculpted in harmony with the natural beauty of its surroundings. Residents of The Founders Club can also enjoy a spacious but intimate clubhouse featuring casual and fine dining, a fitness center and a full social calendar with the purchase of an optional Club membership. Har-Tru tennis courts, basketball and sand volleyball courts and a picnic pavilion are available to all homeowners at the community, where hundreds of protected live oaks create a natural habitat that attracts a variety of birds and wildlife. Just outside the gates, residents have quick access through Lorraine Road to a host of activities, restaurants and events in Lakewood Ranch. Less than 20 minutes away, the University Town Center and acclaimed local restaurants, boutiques, and arts and cultural venues in downtown Sarasota also offer residents convenient options for vibrant living, while pristine, white-sand beaches near the Sarasota Bay provide a tropical background for enjoying the outdoors.  Visitors can also tour a model home by London Bay Homes to get a sneak peek at what’s possible at The Founders Club. The 3,322-square-foot semi-furnished Isabella Grande features a coastal contemporary design, driftwood finishes along with a mixture of textures, silver accents, earth tone woods and artwork that captures the best of Southwest Florida’s lifestyle. With three bedrooms and three baths, the Isabella Grande also offers a study, formal dining room and great room. The model is priced at $1,399,000.
