London Bay welcomes Sarasota’s finest luxury builders to The Founders Club

LB Founders Club, LLC has announced four new luxury homebuilders as part of their preferred builder program in The Founders Club, Sarasota’s premier golf and social club community located on Fruitville Road.

Creating luxury custom homes in Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch and surrounding areas of Sarasota, The Founders Club’s new preferred builders include Roy Dupois’ Anchor Builders, Lee Wetherington Homes, Nelson Homes and Nutter Custom Construction.

Roy Dupois’ Anchor Builders, based in Sarasota, has created true custom homes since 1989. Anchor’s spotless reputation for creating custom homes for a clientele that demands the best available attention to detail and extraordinary level of finish is renowned in the market.

Lee Wetherington Homes has been a leading luxury homebuilder in the Sarasota area since 1974. The company has received numerous local, state and national awards for excellence, including America’s Best Builder from Builder Magazine and the National Association of Home Builders.

Nelson Homes, an independent franchise of Arthur Rutenberg Homes, has been named Builder of the Year three times, most recently in 2018. Nelson Homes is led by second-generation builder, Derek Nelson, a 29-year veteran of Arthur Rutenberg Homes. The franchise has twice been awarded The Gold Cup for customer satisfaction.

Nutter Custom Construction has more than 30 years of construction experience and was recently recognized with a 2018 Best of Houzz award for service and design.

“We are extremely pleased to bring on board this esteemed group of builders that are recognized in the industry for their prestigious offerings of homes in Sarasota,” said John Gleeson, vice president of LB Founders Club, LLC. “Their standards, reputation for design, customer service and construction quality are superior, and will complement the exceptional standards and quality lifestyle offered at The Founders Club.

Anchor Builders, Lee Wetherington Homes, London Bay Homes, Nelson Homes and Nutter Custom Construction, will build single-family homes on select homesites at The Founders Club. Offering a variety of floor plans ranging from three-to-five bedrooms, the homes will offer various architectural styles that seamlessly blend with the aesthetic and natural splendor of the community. Homes will offer 2,200 to more than 6,000 square feet of living space. Home and homesite packages are priced from the $900,000s to more than $5 million.

“There is a great opportunity right now to have what you want, exactly as you want it,” said Gleeson. “Customers may purchase their homesite, and then select from the builder group. The best part is that there are only great choices available amongst the builder team.”

Customers may select from the builders’ existing award-winning floor plans, or work with a designer team to create a fresh new design for their home. Models are available for viewing.

The 700-acre Founders Club offers expansive homesites overlooking picturesque preserves, lakes and fairways along the Robert Trent Jones Jr.-designed championship golf course. The Founders Club residents can enjoy a spacious but intimate clubhouse featuring casual and fine dining, a full social calendar, along with a fitness center with the purchase of an optional Club membership. Also available to all homeowners are Har-Tru tennis courts, basketball and sand volleyball courts, and a picnic pavilion. The community features hundreds of protected live oaks and a natural habitat that attracts a variety of birds and wildlife.

The Founders Club is close to Sarasota’s famed Gulf of Mexico beaches, the University Town Center mall, the acclaimed local restaurants, boutiques, and arts and cultural venues of downtown Sarasota.

Visitors can stop by The Founders Club Sales Center Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. located at 3001 Founders Club Drive, three miles east of I-75 on Fruitville Road, Exit 210.
