In our new blog series, we’re taking a closer look at each of our model homes so you can better determine if a home suits your lifestyle before taking a trip to see it in person at our luxury golf community in Sarasota. Our choice of home for March was quite simple: All we had to do was look at the design that won Best Floor Plan during the Manatee-Sarasota Building Industry Association’s 2015 Parade of Homes. The [Clara](http://thefoundersclub.com/home/clara) is a three bedroom, three and one half bath model home featuring 3,248 square feet under air.  Upon entry to the home, guests are greeted with a clean-lined and elegant path leading you towards the main living area where Michael Scott from [Romanza Interior Design](https://www.romanza.com/) has created a Modern Classic design with dark wood accents and soft blue and green accents, fabrics, and accessories that flow throughout the tranquil space. Finishes include pearl-hued porcelain tile flooring, beamed ceilings in the den and dining room, granite and quartz kitchen and bathroom countertops, and oxford oak flooring in the den. [![Clara Living and Kitchen](https://blog.thefoundersclub.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Clara-Living-and-Kitchen.jpg?width=920&name=Clara-Living-and-Kitchen.jpg "Clara Living and Kitchen")](https://blog.thefoundersclub.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Clara-Living-and-Kitchen.jpg) The Clara’s kitchen features saddle-brown finished cabinetry, moonstone quartz countertops, and an auburn hued backsplash. An oversized freestanding island offers workspace, double sinks, a paneled dishwasher, and a curved peninsula with seating for four. The kitchen is connected to the dining room via a butler’s pantry featuring a stainless steel beverage center and built-in cabinetry. The family room, living room, and master suite open up to the outdoor living area where you will find a sparkling pool and raised circular spa to serve as an introduction to the relaxing golf and preserve view.  With an outdoor living area fit to take advantage of the very best weather Sarasota offers with ample seating and a summer kitchen with a stainless steel grill and refrigerator, you may find yourself inviting some new friends and neighbors over for a delicious afternoon barbecue and a dip in your refreshing pool before heading to the [grand, 24,000-square-foot Golf Hall](http://thefoundersclub.com/amenities/golf-social-club/) for an evening of fun and friendship.
