London Bay Homes offers five luxury model homes open for viewing at The Founders Club

Five single-family model homes are now open for viewing at The Founders Club, Sarasota’s traditional golf and social club community.

Built by London Bay Homes and featuring interiors by Romanza Interior Design, the move-in ready models showcase the latest trends in architectural and coastal contemporary design with distressed wood finishes and colors echoing sea and sunset. Three of the models were also recently awarded top honors during the 2016 Parade of Homes presented by the Manatee-Sarasota Building Industry Association.

The homes demonstrate London Bay’s commitment to Private Label Living with luxury finishes and specialty flooring, ceiling and wall treatments. The models feature open floor plans, large master suites, and an emphasis on outdoor living with summer kitchens, custom pools and spas.

The homes have three and four bedrooms, 3,000 to more than 4,300 square feet of living space, and prices from $1.3 million to $2.3 million.

Two model homes offer different adaptations of London Bay’s popular Isabella floor plan.

The single-story Isabella Grande dedicates much of its additional 300 square feet to the master suite. The recently completed three-bedroom, three-bath model is shown with designer-selected finishes, including rustic wood flooring, textural grass cloth accents, and a palette of white, gray and taupe. The 3,322-square-foot home offers a study, formal dining room, butler’s bar, great room and a three-car garage. It offers wide lake views in front and sunset views over a private nature preserve in the backyard.

Its larger sister, the Isabella Two-Story, features coastal architecture with clean lines, Bermuda-inspired shutters and extended rooflines. Recognized during the Parade of Homes for Best Master Suite and Best Floor Plan, the four-bedroom, five-bath estate model adds a second floor to the home design with a bonus room, two guest suites and a balcony. Interior elements include weathered wood flooring, distressed and woven furniture finishes as well as water and sunset colors of soft greens, aqua blues, yellow and coral. The Isabella Two-Story overlooks The Founders Club’s signature double fairway and nature preserves from its front porch and sunset views over live oaks and a lake from the outdoor living area. The fully furnished home offers 4,265 square feet.

The Girona also showcases views of the community’s Robert Trent Jones Jr.-designed championship golf course, lakes and nature preserve. The home features a beach-inspired interior design with sun-bleached hickory wood floors, beadboard backsplashes and rustic beamed ceilings throughout its 3,526 square feet. The model’s open floor plan combines gathering and entertaining areas within the great room, dining room, kitchen and breakfast nook. It also has a study, kitchen, office area, three full baths, a powder room, and a three-car garage. One of London Bay Homes’ most popular designs, the Girona received the Parade of Homes’ top honors for Best Architectural Detail, Best Floor Plan, Best Kitchen, Best Master Suite and Best Overall award in its price range.

Located on almost half an acre overlooking a lake and the golf course, the 4,329-square-foot Delfina is The Founders Club’s largest model. The estate home offers formal dining and living rooms, a study, family room, four full baths, a powder room and three-car garage. It has built-in cabinetry and features a pop-up TV between billiard and family rooms. The interior’s blue and sunny citrus tones punctuate white-on-white backgrounds. Additional finishes include tumbled travertine, marble and grayed wood flooring and painted beam ceilings. The model also was recognized for Best Curb Appeal during the Parade of Homes.

The Belita, a three-bedroom, three-bath detached villa, is reminiscent of a charming seaside bungalow with its woven furnishings and palette of sky blues, aqua and white. The 3,100-square-foot model offers a study, ivory-toned tile flooring, a naturally aged eucalyptus floor and a three-car garage. The home is located within walking distance to the golf and social club.

London Bay Homes, a leader in the Southwest Florida luxury home market for 25 years, offers a selection of 18 single-family detached villa homes, Reserve Collection homes and one-of-a-kind estates ranging from 2,500 to more than 6,000 square feet of living space at The Founders Club. Home and homesite packages are priced from the $900,000s to more than $5 million.

From now through April 30, London Bay is offering an exclusive end-of-season savings for homeowners desiring an immediate move-in option. The first of three homebuyers of one of the five available model homes will receive $100,000 off the sale price of the home; the second will receive a $75,000 savings; and the third will receive a $50,000 savings.

Named America’s Best Builder in 2008, London Bay uses the latest information, products and technology available in building science, including the BEP Blue Barrier system that protects against mold issues and structural damage from moisture intrusion.

The 700-acre Founders Club offers large homesites overlooking nature preserves, lakes and golf course fairways. The community features 100 protected live oaks and a natural habitat that attracts a variety of birds and wildlife.

The Founders Club offers the area’s only caddie program, so golfers are encouraged to walk the course. Membership is limited to 275 to ensure members enjoy year-round golf with no tee time required.

Training facilities include two putting greens, an expanded driving range and short-game facility, and state-of-the-art TrackMan radar technology offered through Florida Golf Performance Center.

The newly renovated 24,000-square-foot Golf Hall, overlooking an oak hammock and the 18th hole, offers a main dining room, bar and grille, outdoor verandah, and private dining room for casual and fine dining. The facility also has a professionally staffed and fully stocked golf pro shop, state-of-the-art fitness center, and men’s and women’s locker rooms and lounges.

The club offers a vibrant, active social calendar and an in-season reciprocal partnership with Sarasota Yacht Club.

Amenities at The Founders Club are designed to foster camaraderie among residents and a connection with nature. Winding boardwalks and paved walkways meander throughout the community, which is planned for just 262 homes.

The Founders Club also features Har-Tru tennis courts, basketball and sand volleyball courts, as well as a picnic pavilion. Fitness and wellness classes, educational and instructional programs, and social gatherings are coordinated by a professional staff.

The Founders Club is just minutes from Sarasota’s famed Gulf of Mexico beaches, the University Town Center mall, and the acclaimed local restaurants, boutiques and arts and cultural venues of downtown Sarasota.

Visitors can stop by The Founders Club Sales Center Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is located at 3001 Founders Club Drive, three miles east of I-75 on Fruitville Road, Exit 210.
